Sorry it’s a bit on the quite side at the moment. I am out on site for work at the moment so haven’t been able to do my normal blog reading and thinking. I am spending a fair bit of time working on adapting everything here ready for the release of WP1.5 (which has at last moved to beta versions), so when the final version appears I can let my marginally expanded t-w-t-t-c loose on the interweb.
A few thoughts on Apple’s new releases (I’ve only had 10 minutes to look over them so far):
- iPod Shuffle: Thanks but no thanks, why didn’t they add a small remote with screen (ala my 1999 Sony MD player). Come to think of it, why don’t any of the iPods have that?
- iLife ’05: Now you can get movie clips off stills cameras without using the ‘image capture app’, and other tweaks make it look tempting. The cheap upgrade only applies to those who have bought Macs from today though, which seems a bit mean. It might get my £49 though.
- Mac Mini: A bonsai cube, very nice indeed, even better if it glows.
