Place navigation on the right of the screen (default)
Place navigation on the left of the screenI have come to the conclusion that I am rubbish at hacking WordPress. In the last 24 hours I have tried to:
- Prevent certain categories (the hidden ones and asides) being counted on the main page. Result: Did exactly what I wanted, but total wrecked the by-page navigation. Failure.
- Sort out the displaying of certain post categories in left sidebar. Result: Did exactly what I wanted, but for some reason the ‘next page’ links disappeared. Oddly, if I put it in the right sidebar it works. Posts hidden from the front page are still included in the post count. Failure.
- Reorder layout so that the page looked the same, but content would be read first by screen readers. Result:
Looked OK but centre column ran over the footer. FailureSuccess.
Maybe I should quit now before I get even further behind?
