Place navigation on the left of the screen24 hours after installing that OS, my first and probably only comments on the matter.
So good:
- Safari RSS – looks like I won’t need to be getting a dedicated reader.
- Spotlight, though a lot can already be done with Quicksilver.
- General improvements in speed.
No good:
- Nuking MySQL and all my test databases.
- Re-downloading the above and getting it working again1.
- Safari2 rendering the drop shadow for ‘new in the photoblog’ with a 5px gap.
- Mail2 – someone beat it with the Ugly StickTM.
I’m sure that there are lots of other things to find and play with, but those will have to wait.
1Databases still AWOL though.
