.. you should have stayed in bed all day when:

  1. You wake up late
  2. You incinerate the last thing in the house that resembles breakfast by accidently setting the toaster to ‘meltdown’
  3. Your car fails to start and ends up at a dealers where the service clerk happily tells you they charge £69/hour (plus vat)
  4. You puncture the tyre on the poolcar by avoiding a damaged manhole cover, only to find the boards protecting said cover are actually just lying on the roadway and in driving round them you drive straight over the unmarked cover (which collapses).
  5. It’s monday

This was a Bad Day.
