No, it’s not Bahrain, Riyadh or anywhere else moderately interesting, but is where I am working for the next four months or so. Total IT facilities comprise a PIII Dell laptop, a 9.6kbps link via mobile phone and a few podcasts on a flash drive for entertainment1. As a result posting may be a little sparse for a while, as web surfing is going to evenings only. Days without a connection via a fat pipe, I’m not sure can handle it.
1 Additionally shoehorned on is a copy of XAMMPlite to facilitate WP on-a-stick (for general noodling and possible way of storing work notes).
