Shamelessly stolen from Ben Saunders1, and for the same reasons. 28 things to do by this time next year, when I guess I will have to come up with 29 more2.
- Tour Norway/ Sweden and/ or Finland.
- Do more Tai Chi.
- Decide if enjoy my job - Commit more if I do, or quit and do something else instead.
- Buy a road or recumbent bike.
- Use the above to commute to work.
- Be more sociable.
- Stop saying yes to everything.
- Blog more, or less, but better.
- Cycle more miles per week, regardless of weather.
- Learn another language (or improve the ones I already have).
- Take more photos.
- Be happier.
- Spend more time with those important to me.
- Keep in touch better.
- Start growing vegetables again.
- Take a holiday (I’ve had 1½ days off this year).
- Remember that money is a renewable resource, time is not.
- Become more flexible.
- Lurk less, comment more.
- Visit New York &/or San Francisco.
- Boulder consistently at grade B5 (UK 6a/b).
- Spend more time under the stars with my telescope.
- Join a box scheme.
- Learn to cook more things.
- Carry out more random acts of kindness.
- Somehow manage to watch season 6 of at West Wing while simultaneously catching up on seasons 3 - 5 on dvd.
- Sleep better. An average of 5 hours really isn’t enough on a work night.
- Get back into helping out at Wordpress.org again.
Many of the above are going to be difficult to qualitatively say whether I have achieved them, but it will be interesting to look at them in another 365 days.
2 Or more likely 1 more due to not doing any of the above due to procrastination.
